This is the first full-lenght by this Brisbane-based duo, and it sounds like they have trawled the mythic swamps of the Mississippi to find the music’s primordial essence, filtered it through a sieve of the Fat Possum Records back catalogue, and cooked it all up on an alternative rock griddle to create something that is truly their own. Catalogued next to Black Diamond Heavies and our own Black Box Revelation. Speaking of Black Box Revelation, their long-awaited second album, entitled 'Silver Threats', is planned for release on Februari 10th. Meanwhile, have fun with 'The Blackwater Fever'.
