Fuzzbox Finest - Volume 2 (Wrench)

Jeeeesus, How did I missed these guys? This is f**king incredible, this sounds like... or is this... oh what the heck, it's ...KYUSS, isn't it?
No? This is Wrench. Who are these guys?, where do they come from?, how many albums have they recorded? I really don't know. I don't know or can't find anything from them.
What I do know is: many thanks to Cheeto of the Sludge Swamp-team and of course, Fuzzbox.

Thee Andrews Surfers - Rip-Off! (1999)

This one I've received from Ron. How he did it, I don't know, 'cause this is very rare.
Anyway, Thee Andrews Surfers is a side-project of Fifty Foot Combo (RIP), one of our best live acts around. As a side-project, the three core members of Fifty Foot Combo recorded this album and so far I know, this is their first and only release as Thee Andrews Surfers. It contains powerful instrumental garage and surf songs, played with some punk influences. Currently they're playing under the name of Thee Andrews Surfers Royale ( 1 extra Fifty Foot Combo member). So, this is my last post this week/year, enjoy your party and see you all next week.

I wish you all a happy 2009!

Muchas Gracias, Ron.

Fifty Foot Combo - "Ghent - BXL" (2004)

Garage, surf fuzz, exotica, horror and thunder make the Fifty Foot Combo to be a very infectious experience you'll never forget. It is an undeniably fact that Fifty Foot Combo was one of Belgium's hottest live-acts. Smooth but trashy, wild and exciting but stylish...
Sadly, Ghent-BXL was their last album, before they decide to quit.
Link is dead (limit is reached), just leave a comment in my shoutbox and I'll repost asap!

Fifty Foot Combo - The Monstro Phonic Sound Live at Ernesto's

Tonight I'll see 'Thee Andrews Surfers Royale', with ex-members of Fifty Foot Combo. Fifty Foot Combo were probably one of the best live bands Belgium ever had. I saw them several times, and each time, it was overwhelming. After recorded several LP's and EP's they has split up at the end of 2006. They brought us a sublime mix of Garage , Surfpunk, Soul, Rock'n'Roll, Tribal ...
Now, this is my last post this week, tomorrow I leave again, I'm back on Friday 26/12.
I wish you all a happy X-mas.

Brant Bjork - Sabbia OST (2006)

Sabbia brings the low desert and landscapes of California onto film with a full soundtrack by Brant Bjork. He's reaching back to songs from Jalamanta, touching on all his records (except Local Angel), up through Saved By Magic. And the best part of that, is this represents a fraction of the total music used... the rest were demos, unreleased and brand new songs Brant wrote for the movie. And they're awesome.

Note: This is the soundtrack, not the movie!

Kinski - Alpine Static (2005)

This is a powerful instrumental rock album, it varies between stoner and postrock. Think Sabbath, Mogwai, Comets on Fire e.a. They're based in Seattle.
Note: I bought this album on i-tunes, so this is a m4p-file.
So, this is my last post this week, i leave tomorrow.
I'm back on Friday 28th.
Have a nice weekend

Spoiler - Mud *n* Glitter (2001)

I found this one in my record collection If you like classic 70’s rock like Sabbath and the more modern approach of Soundgarden and Monster Magnet, you will love Spoiler (from the Netherlands). The riffs are very slow and heavy with some superb bass. There's also a fantastic cover on it, "Electrifying" from "Grease", so put those dancing shoes on and ...rock!

New link !!!
