Gorilla were formed in the summer of '98 by guitarist/frontman John Redfern, bassist Sarah Russell and Richard Guppy on drums. They capture the essence of their heroes, Th Who, Blue Cheer, MC5... but they add a modern twist to their sound. It's certainly a retro rock album, a loud album too, but tuneful and it's an excellent addition to the stoner psychedelia genre...
