Penthouse were a London-based band, active between 1994 and 2002. This very underrated band have released 3 full-lenghts and several 7 inches. Penthouse are: Charlie Finke (vocals), John Free (guitars), Graham Flynn (bass) and Tim Cedar (drums, he now formed noise band Part Chimp). Expect a loud and dirty psycho-blues sound that has earned them comparisons with the Jesus Lizard, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Gallon Drunk. Penthouse is maybe better known in the USA as 50 Tons of Black Terror, for well known reasons.
