Thee Andrews Surfers - Rip-Off! (1999) Re-up

As a side-project, the three core members of Fifty Foot Combo recorded this album. It's their first and only release as Thee Andrews Surfers. They play now shows under the name of Thee Andrews Surfers Royale ( with 1 extra ex-50ft combo member). Expect instrumental garage-surf surf hits played in a more punkier way. The album isn't available anymore.

The New Strychnines - The New Original Sonic Sound (2003)

In June 2000 the Seattle Experience Music Project managed to put together a show which billed many now legendary '60s Northwest garage bands such as the Wailers and the Kingsmen. Still, they couldn't get what is probably the best of them all, THE SONICS, to reunite. So, Scott McCaughey (Minus 5/Young Fresh Fellows/REM) started to get an all-star Sonics fans´ band together, so that they could perform at the show and represent the original and almighty Sonics. Boooom!! Here are THE NEW STRYCHNINES! And who could dare to play the songs of the wildest and greatest garage-punk band that ever existed? The New Strychnines are 75% of Mudhoney (Mark Arm, Steve Turner, and Dan Peters), with Tom Price (from Gas Huffer and Monkeywrench), Big Kahuna (from Girl Trouble), Scott McCaughey (from The Young Fresh Fellows and The Minus 5), and Craig Florey. Here are 16 tracks, including all the Sonics classics!!

Radio Infinity - Derail to Innovate (2008)

As you already know, Radio Infinity is the band from ex-Millionaire member Ben Weyers, and they released their second album (Derail To Innovate) not that long ago. Sounds very Millionaire-ish.

La Muerte - Death Race 2000 (1989)

Another La Muerte release, to make your La Muerte discography (almost) complete.

Mogul - Build Me A Hunchback (2008) Re-up

Cowboys & Aliens (RIP) and Hypnos 69 (RIP ?) were probably the best stonerrock acts Belgium ever had. Now we have Mogul, Belgium's best keep (stoner) secret of this moment. If you adore Unida, Hermano, Fu or love Demon Cleaner and Ridge, than you surely like Mogul's first full-album 'Build me a hunchback'.

Check them out: Myspace

"Unida, Hermano, Monster Magnet and Kyuss fans, please pay attention to the following! From Belgium hails this new sensational stoner rock band Mogul! Good old fashioned stoner rock with the cosmic approach to songs and melodies. I cannot discover one flaw on this record." (quote taken from allthatisheavy).

Jason Rawhead - Discography

Finally, I'm back home, so let's start the week-end with a thrilling Dutch garage surf band. Are you ready to be surfed? Well, here's 'Are you being surfed'

This is their first album which is strictly guitar-oriented, and includes a mix of songs from their first EP and surf classics like Pipeline and Penetration.
